JOB SUMMARY:

As an Outside Sales Representative, you'll play a crucial role in expanding our customer base and driving revenue growth. Your duties will involve identifying and nurturing new business prospects by engaging with homeowners in Austin and nearby neighborhoods. Your main focus will be on promoting our roofing services, educating potential clients, and closing sales deals.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Prospecting and Lead Generation:

  • Reach out to potential customers door-to-door in residential areas.
  • Generate leads through effective communication.
  • Utilize marketing materials and product knowledge to generate interest.

Customer Engagement:

  • Understand customers' roofing needs and concerns thoroughly.
  • Build rapport and trust with homeowners through professional interactions.

Sales Presentations:

  • Highlight the benefits of our roofing solutions and address customer inquiries.

Proposal and Contract Negotiation:

  • Prepare detailed proposals tailored to customer preferences.
  • Clearly explain contract terms and secure signed agreements.

Relationship Building:

  • Foster positive, long-term relationships with customers.
  • Collaborate with internal teams for smooth project transitions.

Sales Reporting and Goal Achievement:

  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets consistently.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • MUST HAVE A LATE MODEL TRUCK (Half ton or Larger) or the willingness to invest in one before starting.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of independent work.
  • Ability to handle rejection and overcome objections persistently.
  • Familiarity with the Austin, TX residential market is advantageous.
